The forbidden ritual of the Dragons.

As the Dragons were created by the Wayfarers, they also created a kind of people in their own image. TedasiƩl, Samusa, Derumir and Saranor created the four immortal Elves and a people in their own image. Ancatir, Atiarel, Silkanda and Anscharon were born.

The elven tribes spread out across Tirakan, each tribe finding its place to flourish and prosper. Atiarel and Silkanda settled in the far north, Ancatir in the south. Anscharon initially settled east of the Nur'Tuk, but war with the Atiarel and Thzularn would later cause him to migrate east.

The forbidden ritual of the Elves.

This is how the forbidden elven ritual came to be. Ancatir persuaded Anscharon to repeat the Wayfarers' ritual. They kidnapped the immortal Silkanda and Atiarel and retreated to an ice cave high in the north to commit the sacrilege.

Tar heard of the sacrilege and made his way to the scene of the crime. None of his brothers or sisters accompanied him. However, he succeeded in interrupting the ritual, putting Atiarel into a long sleep and banishing Ancatir and Anscharon far from the heart of the land. He freed Silkanda from the spell Ancatir had cast on him and sent him into the northern forests.

The War in the Land of Atiarel

Though Anscharon himself had retreated from the continent in shame and despair, his people still craved more influence over the Atiarel. With the immortal elf now in stasis, Anscharon's people, led by Thzularn, sensed their chance and invaded the land of the Atiarel with many thousands of Elves.

Tar sided with the Atiarel, and though he could not prevent the fall of the city of Re, he allowed them to flee into the mountains. Since that time and the end of the war, Tar has been worshipped as a god by the Atiarel. There are Atiarel priests and monks who spread the word of Tar throughout the world and invoke his help.

Thzularn

Since the War of the elven tribes and the ritual, Thzularn has become the most hated of all the Gods in Tar's eyes. A mutual dislike binds the two and they are enemies to the death.

The people of Anscharon are still under Thzularn's control, and Anscharon himself lives a depressed existence in the cold, dark halls of his underground palace.
