Orcs

There are two major groups of orcs on Tirakan, each made up of individual tribes and tribal alliances. These peoples are in no way really comparable to human kingdoms, there are constant conflicts and minor skirmishes.

Katora

The Katora clans call the lands in southern Toran their own. The Katora are not really a fixed group, but rather an association of individual clans. Only on special occasions can the drums of the Katora be heard beating to initiate great orc gatherings or war campaigns. Like the Kroto'Chim, the Katora worship the god Akhrosch. It was Akhrosch who was once the first of the Orcs. Even today he gives the shamans of the nations their powers. Among the Katora there are also different-minded clans, probably the three largest are listed here (all in all, it is assumed that there are a good 20 different main clans).

Kroto'Chim

The Kroto'Chim are a people of Orcs. They live in a harsh land called Nuk'Kchtuh, which in their language, the Chrotok, means the fertile, or the beautiful land. The Kroto'Chim grow very tall and are very hardy. In the rough and hilly land where they live, the Kroto'Chim specialise in raising Nahrz'gu and goats and in field work, for cattle and noble crops do not thrive very well here. The pride of each clan is undoubtedly their castles, which Humans might rather call fortifications, and their large herds. The Kroto'Chim, like the Katora, worship the god Akhrosh, but also the Titans Zyral and Rogal, known to the Humans. It was Akhrosch who was once the first of the Orcs. Even today he gives the shamans of the peoples their powers.
